The Crossing of Mount Anis

Some treatments are received. This one is experienced.

The Crossing of Mount Anis is performed with four hands: two practitioners working together, in the same movement, the same breath. It's rare, and it changes everything — the body no longer quite knows where the treatment is coming from, it stops anticipating, it lets go.

Beneath their hands, heated basalt stones. Basalt is the stone from which Le Puy-en-Velay is built—the stone of the rock, of the cathedral. It was chosen because it retains heat for a long time, and because it belongs to this place. The heat descends slowly, unraveling what words cannot express.

The gesture is inspired by the Way of St. James, which begins here, just a few streets from the house. The Crossing echoes its rhythm: the departure, the climb, the settling of breath, then the pause. Sixty minutes to traverse, without moving, an inner journey.

In 2026, this treatment was recognized in Paris — selected and ranked 4th in the Best Signature Spa Treatment Trophy, awarded by Les Nouvelles Esthétiques. This recognition is deeply moving for a treatment originating from such a small place.
